What's in the Box
A Simple Pressure Bandage, Folded Flat
This is the Responder ETD folded flat instead of rolled, which suits slim pouches and kits where a round roll does not fit as well. Pad and wrap go on together in one step.
How It Works
- A non-adherent pad sits on the wound, attached to an elastic wrap that applies pressure as it is wound around the limb
- A hook and loop fastener holds the end in place; there are no pressure bars or hooks to work out
- NAR's Quick Grip roll control keeps the roll from unwinding if it is dropped
- Sterile, in a small vacuum-sealed pack with NAR's Red Tip tear notches for opening
Options
- 4 in. flat (30-0171)
- 6 in. flat (30-0172)
4 in. Size
- Elastic bandage: 4 inches wide, 56 inches long
- Pad: 4 by 6 inches
- Weight: about 2 ounces
Good to Know
A pressure dressing is for bleeding that firm pressure can control. For life-threatening bleeding from an arm or leg that direct pressure does not control, use a tourniquet, and call 911 or get emergency medical care for any serious bleeding.
