A Patient Bed That Sets Up Anywhere
When a clinic, shelter or disaster site needs more beds than it has, this one folds out from a compact frame. It is built for one person to set up, and NAR says that with minimal training it reaches its working position in under 60 seconds. It folds back down for transport and storage.
Built for Patient Care
- Bi-fold frame of 6061 aluminum in OD Green, made to hold a resting (static) load of 850 pounds
- 3 inch polyurethane foam mattress whose cover resists water and can be decontaminated
- NAR says the frame spreads the patient's weight across the surface and the pad keeps the patient off the frame, to help reduce pressure points
- Head and foot sections each adjust to 6 positions
- Comes with an IV pole, plus a table that lifts off and sits on the adjustable side rails
- Clean it with a 10% bleach solution or the cleaning products a hospital normally uses
