Blood Pressure Cuffs and a Stethoscope in One Small Case

Taking a manual blood pressure needs a cuff that fits the patient, a gauge and a stethoscope. NAR keeps all of them together in a heavy nylon case with a zipper and several pockets, and says the case can be stored in most trauma kits so it is at hand when needed. The stethoscope is made by ADC and has an extra large bell and a diaphragm NAR calls ultra sensitive. The four cuffs are rugged nylon and share a single tube bladder; a luer slip connector releases quickly to move it from one cuff to the next. The palm gauge can be held in either hand, sits in a high impact housing and lets air out with a trigger valve.

Good to Know

A manual blood pressure takes training and practice to read well. Pick the cuff that fits the arm, because a cuff that is too small or too large gives a wrong reading, and follow your own protocols for when to recheck.
